That’s right, submission deadline untuk KafeArt 2008 telah diperpanjang hingga tanggal 31 July. Jadi bagi kalian-kalian yang ingin submit karya-karya photography, 2D, 3D, multimedia, silahkan kirim message ke info@kafeart.com.

Band competition criteria sudah keluar! Bagi yang mau participate dalam kompetisi ini, mohon dibaca kriteria-kriteria dibawah.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Entry Requirements

a)       Band competition is open to all waves from Rock to RnB.

b)       To be eligible, a band must be formed of at least one
Indonesian student members.

c)       Entry form must be completed and signed on behalf of the band
and returned by the due date. A $25 entry fee applied.

d)       The member of the band signing the entry form warrants that
he/she is authorized by each other member of the band to sign the
entry form and commit them to the terms and conditions.

e)       Bands that have signed a contract with a major record company
and receive financial assistance are not eligible to enter.

f)        Failure by a band to comply with these terms and conditions
may result in disqualification.

Audition

a)       Bands will be selected from an audition to perform in KafeArt
2008.

b)       Audition will take place on 26 July 2008 at Revolver Studio.

c)       On audition, bands will be required to play one of the listed
songs (to be emailed).

d)       Audition will be judged by KafeArt 2008 management.

e)       Participants will be notified by Monday, 04 August 2008 as to
whether they have been successful. This will be done via e-mail and
telephone. Further information will then be forwarded to the
successful applicants.

Performance Requirements

a)       If successful on the audition, bands will need to be
available to perform in KafeArt 2008 which is on 14 August 2008.

b)       Each band must ensure it is prepared and ready to commence
performance at the designated time during the event. Reasonable notice
of the designated time will be given.

c)       Each band must ensure it does not exceed its performance time
allowance. Notice of the time allowance will be given to the band who
are successful on audition.

d)       Each band may be required to lodge their own song list prior
its performance.

e)       Each band may be required to lodge equipment list prior
audition if wishes to not use own equipment.

Judging Criteria

a)       Judging criteria applied by KafeArt 2008 judges will be as
follows:

Creativity                             30%

Musicianship                        30%

Stage presentation               20%

Audience response               20%

The judge’s decision in all respects will be final and no
correspondence will be entered into.

Tema Kafe Art yang satu ini, sering didengar tetapi jarang dipahami. Sering kali kita mendengar seminar tentang Gen Y, target market Gen Y dan kali ini, Kafe Art Gen Y.

Pada dasarnya, generation Y itu adalah demografi orang-orang yang lahir antara tahun 1980 - 1997. Jadi, kita-kita yang lagi belajar di uni atau barusan lulus adalah anggota golongan Gen Y. Ciri khas dari Gen Y adalah pikiran yang global, lebih mudah menerima perubahan, media savvy dan bebas mengutarakan pendapat.

Sering kali Gen Y dikenal dengan nama “Netters” atau “Millenial”. Untuk lebih jelasnya (dan singkat :)), simak video di bawah ini!

Apa sich Generation Y itu? Gen-Y itu yah basically kita-kita ini, orang-orang yang lahir diantara tahun 1980 - 1990an dan sekarang lagi berumur 18-20an.
